The National Audit Office has issued a report about a hedging deal stuck between Enemalta and Azeri government-owned company Socar, saying that a lack of documentation meant the deal's accountability had suffered as a result. The NAO expressed concerns about the 'ministerial direction' involved in the deal while energy minister Konrad Mizzi denies having any personal involvement in the process.
