Galea Curmi to be appointed new Vicar General

Church news portal Newsbook has announced that Fr Joe Galea Curmi, is expected to be appointed as new vicar general. Fr. Joe is the brother of Edgar Galea Curmi, former chief of secretariat for the former prime minister Lawrence Gonzi.

The official statement by the Curia is expected to be released early next week.

Galea Curmi had specialised in Pastoral Theology and he teaches the subject within the University of Malta’s faculty of theology

Ina ddition to this, he is a board member of the institute of pastoral formation and of the European society for Catholic Theology.
