Paul Pace urged to stay on as Forum president

Paul Pace, who resigned as president of the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses (MUMN) after a dismal standing in the union’s election, was urged by Forum to stay on as its president.

Pace said he was stepping down as president of the trade union confederation on the same day he announced his resignation from MUMN.

In a statement issued by Forum, the confederation said it had asked Pace to stay on until its general conference, set to take place in April. Pace accepted the invitation.
