Polish man critical after fall from hotel window

A Polish man is in a critical condition after he fell from a second storey hotel window in Floriana this morning.

Police say they recieved a call for assistance at approximately 06:20am this morning, from a hotel in Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir, Floriana.

The emergency services were dispatched to the scene and took the 35-year old Polish man to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified to be in a critical condition.

The police are investigating and a magisterial inquiry has begun.
