FKNK appoints Lucas Micallef as new PRO

Whilst tendering his resignation from his position, Joseph Buttigieg, the FKNK's Council PRO proposed that young Lucas Micallef, FKNK's Council last elected member, be appointed in his stead in the official post of PRO, the federation said in a statement.

The statement explained how that FKNK Council unanimously agreed with Buttigieg's proposal. 

“Besides the position of PRO for the last number of years, Buttigieg had also occupied the official posts of Vice-President as well as President for several years in the past.”

Buttigieg will reportedly retain FKNK's Commission of Public Relations and Education (KRPE) chairmanship.

FKNK's President, Joseph Perici Calascione, thanked Joe Buttigieg for his continuous service and valid contributions to the FKNK over the last 28 years, and wished Micallef success in his new official position of PRO.
