Nurses against PN proposal relocating American University to St Luke’s
Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses opposes proposals to turn land at St Luke’s Hospital into a campus

The Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses voiced its opposition to a proposal by the Nationalist Party to move the American University of Malta to St Luke’s Hospital, in order not to touch the 90,000 square metres of virgin land at Zonqor Point.
In a statement, the MUMN said it disagreed with the use of the land at St Luke’s Hospital for purposes unrelated to health services.
“Plans in the pipeline for St Luke’s show that the hospital will be pivotal for the improvement of healthcare services and for the increase of beds and services,” the MUMN said.
