Open Days at new Parliament Building announced

Open Days at New Parliament Buildings to be held on Saturday 6th June (between 9.00am and 4.00pm) and Sunday 7th June (between 9.00am and 1.00pm)
 

Speaker Anġlu Farrugia, Government Whip Godfrey Farrugia and Opposition Whip David Agius said that open days would be held at the new Parliament buildings, at a press conference earlier today.

The building would be open to the public over two days; Saturday 6th June between 9.00 am until 4.00 pm and Sunday 7th June between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm.

Members of the public are asked to enter through the administration block where appointed Parliament officials will give them a tour around the premises and provide explanations of the operations held within the building.  

The public will also have the opportunity to see exhibitions set up by convicts, in the entrance of the building during these two days.

It was also announced that the Speaker would be launching a Paul A. Bartolo book entitled Winning People’s Hearts on Saturday 6th June at 10.00 am. The book is about democracy in Malta and it also includes an analysis of the electoral campaign ahead of the 2013 general election.
