Rosette Thake set to become PN secretary-general
Rosette Thake expected to succeed outgoing PN secretary-general Chris Said after being only candidate to submit nomination

Rosette Thake is the Nationalist Party’s new secretary-general, after being the only eligible candidate to submit her nomination for the post vacated by Chris Said.
Thake, who manages a number of private childcare centres, will officially become secretary-general once the party’s new executive votes on Wednesday
Thake, a relative newcomer to party politics, has served on the party’s cultural wing AZAD and chaired the PN first ever convention in 2014.
A graduate in communication and social studies, Thake is currently reading for a master’s in public policy leadership at the University of Malta.
Meanwhile the party has received the following nominations for other vacant roles; Jean Pierre Debono (assistant secretary-general), Karol Aquilina (administrative council president), Ann Fenech (executive committee president), Alex Perici Calascione (treasurer) and Trevor Degiorgio (international secretary).
