46% of the population find it difficult or impossible to access information related to mental health, including ways to handle depression and stress. This was revealed by a survey that looked into health literacy in Malta. Overall, health literacy was found to be good, above the EU average, but difficulties in accessing mental health information remain worrying.

Mark Gaffarena's illegally built entertainment venue in Qormi was, at least until last Saturday, still operational. Three of the plots given to Gaffarena in payment for his share of a Valletta property are close to this venue, in Tal-Handaq.
