Gozitan food products to feature on Portughese catalogue

The Gozitan food products will be listed in the Christmas Mail Order Catalogue which will include gourmet products from the Mediterranean.

The three Maltese products listed in the catalogue are Savina’s “tomato spread for bread”, “pickled onion with honey syrup” and the “sweet and chili pepper paté”. Savina is the brand name of food products produced by the Gozitan food processing company.

Director General of Gourmed Isaber Menano, said she was very happy to have for the first time Maltese products included in their Christmas Catalogue.

Gourmed is distributed to a broad public, but its Christmas edition has as its main target audience and clientele major companies and diplomatic missions in Portugal and Portuguese Speaking States.

Menano also said that she was interested in widening the presence of Maltese Gourmet Products on future editions of the catalogue and will be having further talks with Embassy of Malta in Lisbon.

Maltese companies wishing to submit their products for evaluation by Gourmed for eventual inclusion in future editions are requested to signal their interest to the Malta Embassy in Lisbon ([email protected]).
