Resurfacing works in Cospicua and Bahar ic- Caghaq

Transport Malta said that it is resurfacing parts of Triq San Nikola and Triq San Ġwann T’Għuxa in Cospicua and parts of Triq ir-Ridott in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq.

The final layer of asphalt in Triq San Nikola, Cospicua will be applied tomorrow (Friday 7th August) and the road will be closed between 07:00 and 17:00, when all vehicles will be diverted through Triq Alessandra.

On Monday 10th August, Transport Malta will also be asphalting parts of Triq San Ġwann t’Għuxa in Cospicua, with the final layer of asphalt then being applied on Wednesday 12th August.

The authority said that Triq San Ġwann T’Għuxa will be closed between 07:00 and 17:00 on both days.

It added that vehicular traffic coming from Paola towards Bieb Polverista will be diverted through Cospicua centre, while vehicular traffic going towards Triq it-Tlett Ibliet will not be affected.

Transport Malta said that it will be resurfacing Triq ir-Ridott in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, and that the asphalting is part of the ongoing Coast Road Project.

Triq ir-Ridott will be closed tomorrow between 9:00 in the morning and 16:00 in the evening and residents of the area are asked to follow the diversion signs and instructions by officers on site.
