Temporary rescheduling in Malta-Pozzallo service

Virtu Ferries has announced that there will be a temporary rescheduling and changes in their Malta-Pozzallo-Malta Service.  

The changes were mainly due to the M/V Jean De La Vallette making slight contact with the quay in Pozzallo Port during berthing this morning.

The company said that the M/V San Gwann is being deployed as a substitute vessel, and that until repair works on M/V Jean De La Vallette were complete, the service would be a passenger only service.   

The company further explained that as from this evening all Malta-Pozzallo voyages, will be performed as per schedule by Catamaran M/V San Gwann until further notice.  

It added that all passengers booked to travel on the service were being contacted and that they would be issuing statements on a regular basis for the general public to be kept fully informed of travel arrangements.
