Good Earth recalls quinoa for elevated pesticide levels

Good Earth Distributors Ltd,  has announced that it is recalling its “Conventional and organic quinoa” packets, due to “elevated pesticide levels, which have been identified recently,” a statement reads.    

The statement adds that the company is taking action to identify the stock and that it has blocked the unsold product from reaching the consumer.

“Any consumers who may have already purchased this product, are advised to return this product at Hard Rocks Industrial Park, Burmarrad Road, Naxxar, NXR 6345 from Monday to Friday between 08.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs,” the company said, adding that customers will be given a full refund.
