Old people’s home waiting list down by 30%
Around 1,404 people on waiting lists for long-term care at old people's homes, down by 30% since October 2014
The number of people on waiting lists for long-term care at old people’s homes has gone down by some 30% since October 2014, active ageing parliamentary secretary Justyne Caruana said in a tweet.
That means that around 1,404 people are now on the waiting lists, a significantly smaller number than the 2,000 registered last year.
The number of people waiting for assessment has also gone down by 34.5% when compared to last month.
