Nine arrested in Paceville over drug trafficking

Police drug squad officers arrested nine people in Paceville in connection with drug offences throughout Saturday night.

The police said the nine men were of Maltese, Italian and Nigerian nationality, whose ages ranged fro 16 to 27.

They were found in possession of substantial quantities of cannabis, cannabis resin, cocaine, and mephedrone.

They are expected to be arraigned in court within the next hours, accused of aggravated trafficking.
