Richmond Foundation awarded European Citizen’s Prize 2015 for exceptional achievement

Malta’s leading NGO on mental wellbeing among 47 European organisations listed as contributing to the values in the Charter of Fundamental Rights

Richmond Foundation, Malta’s leading NGO on mental wellbeing, was among 47 European organisations and individuals who distinguished themselves in contributing to the values entailed in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

During a ceremony held in Brussels, Anthony Guillaumier, Chairman of Richmond Foundation received the award from Sylvie Guillaume, Vice-President of the European Parliament and Chancellor of the European Citizen’s Prize for the Foundation’s achievement in introducing and promoting community mental health in Malta during the past twenty one years.

Richmond Foundation nomination for this prestigious award was unanimously supported by the six Maltese Members of the European Parliament.

Richmond Foundation is a voluntary organisation registered with the Commission for Voluntary Organisations and the only health related NGO in Malta with ISO 9001 accreditation.
