MP asks whether ARMS Ltd will be privatized

The government’s utilities billing company ARMS Ltd was undergoing “a business process improvement”, according to Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi.

Likewise, he added, there was an ongoing process to “better operate the smart meters system along with Enemalta and Water Services”.

In reply to PN MP Kristy Debono, Mizzi however didn’t refer to any plans to privatize ARMS Ltd, as asked by the MP.

Debono’s parliamentary question sought Mizzi’s confirmation – or denial – as to whether there were ongoing discussions to privatize the billing company.
