78 CHOGM luxury cars to be put up for auction
78 luxury Volvo cars that will be used to transport foreign leaders and dignitaries at CHOGM and Valletta summit will be put up for auction, with proceedings going to Istrina charity campaign.

The 78 Volvos will be put up for auction on 5 December.
The 78 luxury cars that will be used to transport foreign leaders and dignitaries for this month’s Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and EU-Africa migration summit will be put for auction.
The auction will be held on 5 December at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali, and all proceeds will be donated to the 2015 Istrina charity campaign.
Bids for the 58 Volvo XC60s, each worth around €44,500, will start at €32,500 per car. Bids for the 20 Volvo S60s, each worth around €41,500, will start at €30,500.
The cars are brand new and will only be used for three days throughout the two events.
