Over 5,000 request information on mental health
A little over 5,000 people about mental health during an information and awareness campaign organised by Mount Carmel for International Mental Health Day.
Throughout the day, various health care professionals met with the public in various locales as part of the campaign, held in an effort to educate the public about mental health problems, as well as the various locations where one can receive related care.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Elderly and Community Care Mario Galea publicly thanked all the professionals who participated in the campaign, while noting with satisfaction the interest shown by the public.
