Leaders past and present attend funeral of John Dalli’s wife

Prime minister Joseph Muscat and Opposition leader Simon Busuttil attended this morning’s funeral mass of Josette Dalli, wife of former European Commissioner John Dalli.

Former prime ministers Lawrence Gonzi and Eddie Fenech Adami were also present to pay their last respects. 

Josette Dalli died suddenly on Thursday night, aged 64. The two had been married since 1975 and have two daughters, Claire and Louisa.

The funeral mass, held at the Millennium Chapel in Paceville, was also attended by the entire shadow Cabinet, including both PN deputy leaders Mario de Marco and Beppe Fenech Adami.
