Motorcyclist grievously injured in Gozo accident

A 66-year-old man is in danger of losing his life following a crash involving a van and the motorcycle he was riding.

The accident took place at about 7:30am in Triq Mgarr, in Xewkija, Gozo.

According to police investigations, both the van and the motorcycle were being driven in the same direction, towards the Mgarr port.

The man resides in Xewkija and the van was being driven by a 55-year-old who lives in Rabat.

Investigations are underway.
