Mizzi dodges PQ on Transport Malta consultancies

Transport minister Joe Mizzi dodged a parliamentary question by shadow transport minister Marthese Portelli on consultancies and persons of trust, asking her to “be more specific in her question”.

Portelli had asked Mizzi to name the consultants and persons of trust who had rendered their services to the transport ministry on “any material related to Transport Malta” since 1 March 2013.

She also asked him for details on their remuneration packages, as well as the expiration dates of their consultancy terms.

“How can I be more specific than that?” she asked, raising a point of order at the end of a parliamentary debate.
