HSBC and GWU sign collective agreement for wage increases
HSBC Bank Malta and the GWU have entered into a collective agreement for the period 2014-2018
HSBC Bank Malta and the General Workers Union (GWU) have entered into a collective agreement for the period between 2014 and 2018.
The agreement, signed by both organisations, covers the non-clerical categories and stipulates wage increases over the term of the deal as well as other financial and non-financial benefits.
According to a press statement, officials from HSBC and GWU expressed their satisfaction on signing the new agreement.
The agreement was signed, by HSBC CEO Andrew Beane and the HR Head Mandy Garner, while, GWU Secretary General for Professionals, Finance and Services Section Charles Galea and Member Anthony Facciol represented GWU.
