Floriana health centre reopens after vandal attack

The Floriana health centre has reopened a day after it had to be temporarily closed following a vandal attack by a 21-year-old man 

The Floriana health centre has reopened this morning, a day after it was temporarily closed following a vandal attack.

The incident occurred at around 7:20pm on Friday, when an aggressive 21-year old man started trashing the centre and damaged a number of computers.

The man, who hails from Somalia, has since been arrested and is currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital for injuries sustained during the attack.

A security guard is also being treated after he was injured by broken glass.
