Labour elects its new executive board

Labour delegates vote for 12 people to serve on the party's executive board, out of a total of 17 candidates

The Labour Party has elected 12 members to serve on the party’s national executive committee for the coming year.

Out of the eligible 749 party delegates, 653 cast their votes marking 87% of the eligible voters.

Delegates were asked to choose their representatives from 17 candidates.

Gozitan Ġuża Cassar, Monica Farrugia, Nikita Zammit Alamango, Mario Azzopardi, Catherine Fenech, Manuel Rocco, Ray Falzon, and Neville Gafa’ have retained their seats from the previous executive.

Aaron Farrugia, Ray Mizzi, Mark Grech and Joe Cilia are newcomers to the executive, replacing Frans Agius, Michael Parnis, Alfred Zammit and Jurgen Zammit.
