Electoral Commission yet to approve 'Patriots' statute'
Joseph Church says Electoral Commission yet to consider Ghaqda Patrijotti Maltin’s request for statute approval
The Electoral Commission has yet to consider a request by the Ghaqda Patrijotti Maltin to approve their statute.
In a press statement, chief electoral commissioner Joseph Church denied statements by the self-declared Maltese patriots that their statute had already been approved.
“This is incorrect since the Electoral Commission has yet to consider the movement’s request for approval. The Electoral Commission has only issued an acknowledgement to the movement confirming receipt of a letter and their statute,” Church said.
Ghaqda Patrijotti Maltin wants to contest the upcoming general election, campaigning on an anti-immigration platform.
