Cash register stolen from grocery shop
Nobody injured during grocery shop robbery in the early morning in St. Julian's

A sum of cash was stolen from a grocery shop in St. George’s Street, St Julians at around 5:45am when a man was seen running away carrying a cash register in hand.
The St. Julian’s police station was contacted and officers appeared at the said grocery shop where they found a 20-year-old employee who was on the scene when the shop was robbed.
Preliminary investigations indicated that a masked man abruptly went behind the counter wielding a knife, pushed the employee and ran off with the cash register.
Nobody was injured during the robbery.
Police investigations are ongoing.
