Citizens invited to attend meetings on quality of Public Services

Members of the public have been invited to participate in a number of consultative meetings about Public Services between 30th May and 2nd June

Members of the public have been invited to participate in a series of meetings to allow them to share their concerns about the Public Services.

The meetings, which have never been held before, aim to be a way for the service to get feedback directly from the public about the services offered and the changes required to address their needs better.

The meetings will be held over four days between the 30th May and the 2nd June, under the themes of; consumer affairs, education, health, commerce, tourism, culture, social security and government contracts.

A statement adds that another meeting will be bringing together magistrates, social workers, police officials, public officials and other professionals involved in Court proceedings in any capacity.

“The meeting will mark the beginning of a number of necessary changes to improve the quality of the service in the sector,” the statement adds.

Two meetings will be held on different themes every day, with one being held at Fort St. Elmo and the other at the Mediterranean Conference Centre between 18:00 and 19:30.

Those interested are invited to visit www.publicservice.gov.mt for more information about the activities being held throughout the week dedicated to the Public Services. Seats can be reserved on 22001526.
