[WATCH] Montenegro's Milo Djukanovic in Malta for talks with Muscat
The Prime Minister of Montenegro meets Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at Castille in Valletta, two countries expected to sign health sector agreement
The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, today met Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at Castille in Valletta.
In the introductory comments, Muscat said Malta was willing to share its experiences of European integration with Montenegro while the Maltese government was "keen" to learn from Montenegro.
Muscat also expressed his pride in that Montenegro was the first country that Malta was investing in in the energy sector.
The construction phase of the wind farm is expected to commence in the coming days. Bureaucratic details will be discussed during the bilateral meeting.
On his part, the Montenegrin prime minister said he was happy in that no time was lost over the renewable energy project. He said, his government was dedicated to a successful implementation to the project.
Montenegro also said it look forward to a future collaboration in education, health and science while borrowing Malta's knowledge on EU integration.
The Maltese delegation includes OPM minister Konrad Mizzi and Health Minister Chris Fearne.
