[WATCH] Construction works on collapsed Barracuda balcony begin

Construction works to rebuild the collapsed balcony of Barracuda restaurant in St. Julian’s, have begun.
Videos show workers removing what’s left of the balcony of the popular restaurant, which collapsed last Monday 16th May, leaving diners shocked and eight French tourists injured in the incident.
The balcony, which consisted of a platform supported by two stone columns, with their bases on the rocks below, fell on to the balcony below which belongs to the Piccolo Padre restaurant, and which was luckily empty when the accident happened.
A 46-year-old woman was critically injured in the accident, while a 46 year-old man suffered grievous injuries, but their condition has since improved.
The restaurant owners have also said they are conducting an inquiry into the accident, apart from the magisterial inquiry that is already underway, to determine what caused the balcony to ultimately collapse.
