185 Mount Carmel admissions in a month
Seven people escaped mental health hospital between May and 6 June, out of which six voluntary returned

185 people were admitted into Mount Carmel between May and 6 June, health minister Chris Fearne revealed.
In response to a series of parliamentary questions by Opposition MP Claudette Buttigieg on the mental health hospital, Fearne said that three people were kept under constant watch during that period.
He said that seven people escaped the hospital, out of which six returned out of their own free will.
Fearne refused to break that last bit of information down week by week, referring Buttigieg to his answer to her original question.
