Works on 30 roads to start shortly

Works on the following roads are expected to commence during the first week of December and are expected to be completed by the end of March 2011, Transport Malta announced.

At a cost of €1.3M, Transport Malta said these works will include the upgrading of existing services, the construction of footpaths and the construction of the road itself.

Can Transport Malta tell us when will Valleta Road in Paula be given at least a new face.This road is a major road used by the buses going through to the major towns and villages in the South; Cospicua,Senglea,Vittoriosa,Kalkara,Zabbar,Xaghjra,Marsaskala,Zejtun,Marsaxlokk,Tarxien,St.Lucia,Ghaxaq.Gudja,Birzebbugia,Halfar and Paula apart from the thousand of private and industrial vechicles using the transport hub of the South that is Paula.As such this road isnt that big ,it runs (if you dont take into cosideration Paula Square which also is in dire need of resurfacing) from near the Paula Police Station to the roundabout near Sare Marbleworks.
