Tremor felt in Maltese localities

An earthquake which took place in the Sicily Malta channel was felt in parts of Malta this afternoon according to media outlets.

The tremor measured 3.7 magnitude on the Richter scale, and lasted some 10 seconds. It was also registered by the University of Malta’s seismic monitoring group.
