Enemalta to sound off power station’s emergency sirens for 20 seconds

If you live close to the power station in Delimara and you hear a siren sounding off at 9am on Tuesday morning, don’t panic. It’s just an emergency test.

Enemalta will test the emergency alarms at the Delimara power station on Tuesday. The alarms will be sounded for 20 seconds at 9am, as part of an annual exercise to test the Company’s readiness for emergency situations at the power station.

The company said its emergency response plans are constantly reviewed and updated in collaboration with several national entities and authorities and in line with applicable policies and regulations.
