BWSC | Government manipulating Auditor General’s testimony - PL

The Office of the Prime Minister has spent people’s tax money to publish notices which manipulate the testimony of the Auditor General, the Labour Party said in a statement.

“Worse than this is that the Office of the Prime Minister is hiding the identity of who is paying for these notices,” the statement reads.

According to the Labour Party, this is not the first time that the “Office of Lawrence Gonzi is throwing the stone and hiding the hand. A few months ago he raised up his Minister’s wages by €600 per week without saying anything.”

The party in Opposition claims that “Lawrence Gonzi has no outstanding shame in distorting and confusing people's minds to cover all the irregularities found in the  BWSC contract by the Auditor General.”

The Labour Party stated that if the Prime Minister does not want to accept “the facts and is using public money to distort the dirt that emerged from this case, let alone how long will it take to take the necessary steps not to repeat the obscenities that occurred.”

“People are going to pay for this worst choice of power station with their health and with their money now more than ever.”
