‘Government not fulfilling PN supporters’ expectations’ – former minister Michael Falzon

Former PN minister Michael Falzon says even PN supporters’ aspirations are not being fulfilled by government.

Former minister Michael Falzon declares in an interview today in sister newspaper Illum says the government is failing its own supporters who “believe in an open government that respects its citizenry.”

He referred to former Nationalist minister and MP Jesmond Mugliett’s observation that the change in government policy to use diesel instead of gas – referring to the Delimara power station extension – was never discussed in Cabinet. “Nobody has contradicted him,” Falzon says.

Falzon also refers to statements by Eddie Fenech Adami on his opposition to divorce. “Eddie Fenech has a right to his opinion. He always would say ‘God forbid that divorce should be introduced.’ I’d say that this time has now come.”
