Boat owners' consortium get keys to Ta' Xbiex and Msida marinas
Creek Developments' 417 boaters take 25-year concession on two yacht marinas.

Over 400 boat owners represented by Creek Developments plc today were handed a 25-year concession to run the Msida and Ta' Xbiex marinas.
The company has pledged a €5 million investment in upgrading the marinas, and paid a €7.3 million concession fee.
There were three bids for the Msida marina and five for the Ta’ Xbiex marina, which Creek Development won both.
Transport Malta is expected to start the privatisation of the Gzira Gardens marina once a a pending Malta Environment and Planning Authority permit application to add a pontoon and create an additional 40 berthing spaces is settled.
