PN fundraiser brings in €266,459

The Nationalist Party managed to raise €266,459 during and fundraising telethon held yesterday.

The activity, themed ‘For Democracy and Liberty’, started at noon at the PN’s headquarters and continued till late.

The telethon was live-streamed on Net TV and Radio 101.

Party leader Simon Busuttil thanked all those who contributed their donation, and said that the funds would go towards building a strong electoral campaign.

The upcoming general elections are due to take place by March of next year, but no date has yet been set.

The telethon also combined the ‘Come on Nationalists’ project launched in previous weeks, which has seen several people collecting sums of €500 to symbolically buy parts of a mosaic that will be placed at the entrance of the PN’s headquarters.
