Road accident in Mosta leaves 75-year old man in critical condition

The accident took place around 06.15 am, and preliminary investigations show that the man, a resident of Mosta, got run over by a Ford Escort, being driven by a 29-year old man from Rabat.

An ambulance and medical team were immediately called on site, and the 75-year old man was taken to Mater Dei hospital, where it emerged he is in critical condition.

Police investigations are ongoing.
