The private company Easygas, said this evening that its prices per cylinder for this month would be changing to the following:
Door-to-door delivery: 10 Kgs - €13.40; 15 Kgs - €19.50 and 25 Kgs - €31.50
Fixed point sales: 10 Kgs - €13.00; 15 Kgs - €19.00 and 25 Kgs - €30.80
Since gas has been privatised the price of gas has risen astronomically.

The Malta Resources Authority had issued three licences to Easygas Malta Ltd - for the importation and wholesale of LPG, for the retail of portable cylinders filled with LPG from a fixed point of sale, and authorisation to operate a primary storage facility at the site in Triq Valletta, Luqa.
The authorisation to import and wholesale LPG is valid for six years and allows the provider to load bulk LPG to road tankers, for final distribution to clients around Malta.
The authorisation for the operation of a primary storage facility is valid until 17 August 2039. Easygas Malta Ltd is also authorised to carry out the retail activity of portable cylinders filled with LPG from a fixed point of sale, that is the site in Triq Valletta, Luqa. The licence is valid until 17 September, 2015
