Liquigas announces separate LPG prices
Effective as from Monday 3 January, Liquigas' prices for a 12kg cylinder stand at €1.30 less than the official maximum price approved by Malta Resources Authority (MRA).

In its statement announcing the prices, Liquigas said that International prices of LPG continued to rise in December 2010 when the current stock of gas was purchased. It added that it will continue with its production of the 12 kg cylinder, which is the cylinder size in most demand locally.
In the meantime, Liquigas also announced that it has further extended its schedule for fixed point of sales schedule, operational up to 31 March 2011, by adding another four sessions to its extensive points of sale network covering 25 different points.
The additions are on Mondays at Zabbar (St Mary Str), on Tuesdays at Qormi (near Shopwise), on Wednesdays at Zebbug (Mdina Rdnear St Dorothy’s) and on Thursdays at Rabat(Museum Str). All four new points of sale sessions will be held between 16.00hrs and 18.00hrs, bringing the total of point of sales sessions to 53 per week across Malta.
At present, apart from Liquigas Office, Gas Division at Qajjenza, LPG cylinders can be purchased from St George’sBay- Birzebbuga, Birkirkara, Bormla, Burmarrad, Fgura, Gudja, Hamrun, Kirkop, Marsa, Msida, Mosta, Naxxar, Paola, Qormi, Rabat, Siggiewi, Sta Lucija, Sta Venera, St Andrews, Tarxien, Zebbug, Zabbar and Zejtun.
LPG cylinders distributors will be available at these localities during various convenient times, including Saturdays between 8am and 11am.

EASYGAS PRICES
New gas supplier Easygas said that its prices per cylinder for this month would be the following:
Door-to-door delivery: 10 Kgs - €13.40; 15 Kgs - €19.50 and 25 Kgs - €31.50
Fixed point sales: 10 Kgs - €13.00; 15 Kgs - €19.00 and 25 Kgs - €30.80

This is what you call being "good corporate citizens"......selling gas at less than the MRA approves. OR you can say that the MRA is a big bloody joke.
