Second hold-up in Zebbug in one week

A second hold-up took place in a Zebbug shop on Mgr Milanesi street today at 6:45pm, where a hooded person stole €400 in cash while holding a firearm. Nobody was injured.

Duty magistrate Edwina Grima has appointed experts in the ongoing investigation.

It was the second armed hold-up in a week. Investigations are also underway on a hold-up on Crops Seller, a grocery on Main Street, in Zebbug. Nobody was injured in the incident that took place on Wednesday.
