18-year-old in critical condition

The Police said that around 12.45am, their assistance was sought and an ambulance was called to assist a young man.

Initial investigations revealed the man was in the company of his friends and suffered a head injury. The 18-year-old was rushed to the hospital where he was certified to be in critical condition.

A Police investigation is underway

Magistrate Edwina Grima is holding an inquiry.
