Woman hit by car in Ħamrun

An elderly woman residing in Ħamrun was hit by a car yesterday evening whilst crossing a a busy street in the same locality.

The 69-year-old woman was crossing Priest Mifusd Street when she was hit by a Fiat Punto at around 7.30pm. The car was being driven by a 32-year-old woman, also from Ħamrun.

The elderly woman is suffering from serious injuries but is not in danger of losing her life.
