Attempted robbery in San Gwann

Last evening at around 20:10 police were alerted of a robbery attempt in an establishment in Triq l-Ewkaliptus, San Gwann.

Preliminary investigations showed that a man, armed with a gun and wearing a hoodie, entered the premises and ordered the employee to give him money, police said.

The employee refused to comply, and the suspect escaped. No one was harmed.

Police investigations are underway.
