Annabelle Vassallo succumbs to cancer

Pro-life award winner Annabelle Vassallo passed away last night after four years of battling cancer.

Vassallo, from Siggiewi, was admired for her constant positivity and for her impressive will to combat her illness.

Vassallo was diagnosed with cancer on Boxing Day in 2006. In June last year she received the Pro-Life award while her autobiography Irrid Ngħix was immediately sold out.
