Three arrested after 400 grammes of cocaine intercepted in US, UK

Three Maltese men have been arrested in a coordinated sting between the Maltese Police, the American DEA and the UK's Metropolitan Police that yielded 400 grammes of cocaine destined for Malta.
 

A police statement explained that the men were arrested after the packets containing cocaine were intercepted last week.

The men a 64 year-old and his 35 year-old son - both from St. Julians - and a 31 year-old from Sliema are expected to be arraigned in later today, charged with criminal conspiracy with intent to import and traffick drugs.

A Magisterial inquiry has been opened, while police investigations are still ongoing.

Lets hope the bastards will get a hefty sentence, after all importation of drugs, whether to resell or for personal use is like sticking a dagger into ones body, since drugs KILL.
