PN to decide on controversial 'anti-divorce' resolution

The PN will be holding an important meeting today to finalise its position on divorce.  Last Wednesday, the PN secretary General Paul Borg Olivier announced and presented a resolution which effectively confirms a complete U-turn on the Prime Minister’s original proposal for a referendum.  The resolution has been criticised by the pro-divorce movement but strangely applauded by Alternattiva Demokratika.  Back bencher Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando is expected to fight the resolution and insist on a referendum.
