Man grievously injured in Żebbuġ

A man has suffered serious injuries this morning after falling from a height of one storey in Żebbuġ.

At approximately 7.15am on Thursday, the police were summoned to tal-Ħlas area, where the 66-year-old man was injured.

The man had been working in a field, when he lost his balance and subsequently fell onto rubble.

He was assisted by civil protection members, and then taken by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.

Investigations by the police are ongoing.
