Updated | Car collision leaves several people injured

Two drivers have been hospitalized after a collision between their cars in Paola on Sunday night.

The incident occurred at 9.40pm in Triq il-Perit Dom Mintoff, Paola.

The police said, that an investigation showed that there had been collision between a Toyota driven by an 18-year-old man and a Peugeot 106 driven by a 19-year-old man. Both residents of Qormi.

An ambulance was called on site and took both parties to Mater Dei Hospital for medical treatment, where it was later certified that the 19-year-old had suffered from grievous injuries whilst the 18-year-old had suffered from slight injuries.

 A police investigation is currently ongoing.
